Quintet for flute, violin, cello, percussion, & synthesizer.  Commissioned by The Juilliard School, 1991.  Grand Prize and Chamber Music Award, Delius Composition Contest.  Selected to represent the US at ISCM World Music Days, Mexico City. 1993.  Other performances: The California Ear Unit,  Jacksonville Symphony, Juilliard Chamber Players, Marc DeGarmo & Dancers.  Termed a “glowing jewel of a new score” by the New York Times.
